Blue Boat Subsea CEO, Gary Willmore, was a leading force in the design, engineering and construction of the harbor at Sakhalin Island Russia.
Our parent company, Wavecrest, was the overseer for the state of RI during the installation of Block Island and also wrote the welding , installation and other pertinent procedures.
Our ROV staff have been involved in offshore wind farm construction and maintenance projects all over the globe.
In 2003, when the space shuttle Columbia was lost over Texas and Louisiana some of our management team was deployed to plan and deploy resources for the waterborne recovery of debris and remains in a concise and meticulous manner. They worked with numerous federal and state agencies for months to coordinate a methodic recovery.
Our staff of commercial divers, project managers and IMCA technicians have worked on some of the most challenging air, mixed gas and saturation projects around the world. Some of those include disaster response to inspect and clear bridges and roadways. Construction of deep-water energy facilities, docks, harbors and pipelines around the world to supply energy resources for home heating, electricity and other modern conveniences. They are each proud of our impeccable safety record.
in 1994 when the Berman spill left 3 million gallons of oil on the pristine beaches of San Juan Puerto Rico, members of our team responded in developing submerged oil recovery methods. In only a few months the beaches were restored to their pristine beauty.
