In 2003, when the space shuttle Columbia was lost over Texas and Louisiana some of our management team was deployed to plan and deploy resources for the waterborne recovery of debris and remains in a concise and meticulous manner. They worked with numerous federal and state agencies for months to coordinate a methodic recovery.
Our staff of commercial divers, project managers and IMCA technicians have worked on some of the most challenging air, mixed gas and saturation projects around the world. Some of those include disaster response to inspect and clear bridges and roadways. Construction of deep-water energy facilities, docks, harbors and pipelines around the world to supply energy resources for home heating, electricity and other modern conveniences. in 1994 when the Berman spill left 3 million gallons of oil on the pristine beaches of San Juan Puerto Rico, members of our team responded in developing submerged oil recovery methods. In only a few months the beaches were restored to their pristine beauty.
